There’s a new way of thinking about which jobs we may be best suited to – job clusters. They focus on skills, interests and strengths, not job titles. Each of the seven job clusters is a group of roles that require a similar skill set:  Generators, Artisans, Carers, Coordinators, Designers, Informers and Technologists.

Knowing which job cluster your interests and skills fit with can help you explore your career options. You’ll also discover ideas for transferring your skills over to another role or industry. For example, if you worked as a retail assistant, you’d be part of the job cluster ‘Generator’ and could look at other ‘Generator’ roles, like a café assistant or hotel worker.
